Brand of the Free (BOTF) is located in beautiful Northern Virginia, USA. We market our apparel on both a wholesale and retail level through boutiques, OEM clients, trade shows, expos and our online store.
All of our garments are American made and sweatshop free using select standard cotton and 100% Certified Organic cotton in sizes from infant to Adult. Our organic garments originate from cotton grown in Texas and certified organic by TDA (Texas Department of Agriculture). Our t-shirts are constructed of 4.4 oz 30/1 combed ring spun fine jersey cotton. They feature superior color fastness and minimal shrinkage. Our organic apparel has never been treated with any harsh chemicals or pesticides and all dyes used in production are also environmentally friendly.
We do not use the standard plastisol, petroleum based inks used by most screen printers. We print all of garments as well as our organic cotton t-shirts with eco-friendly non-toxic water base inks. This allows our t-shirts to be free of toxins and very soft to the touch. Our water base ink doesn't just sit on the surface of the shirt it penetrates into the fibers which produces a better looking graphic. No more thick heavy prints that crack and peel after a few washes. The graphics not only look great but they wash well and allow the garments to breathe.

Another feature added to our t-shirt line is the tagless neck print. We've taken the scratchy, curly neck labels out and replaced them with super soft prints using the same water base non-toxic print ink. These tagless labels give the wearer all the information needed about the t-shirt showing our logo, garment size, 100% certified organic cotton, laundering care instructions, web site address RN number and of course Made in USA and Sweatshop Free.
BOTF t-shirts feature thought provoking, print designs that inspire positive conversations about America and the environment. In offering our American made 100% organic cotton t-shirts, we can satisfy a growing consumer base requesting high quality, eco-friendly, US made products. The goal is to look great while remaining socially responsible.
Low quality imports are not only taking advantage of workers overseas, but taking a bite out of our economy. Wear our apparel with pride, knowing that every item sold helps keep an American working at a good job and earning a fair wage.
We strongly believe that we all can be more aware and responsible to the environment. Through education we can all make small changes and together we will make a difference. We take great care to recycle, reduce and reuse in all of our design, marketing, processing, and shipping as much as possible.
